Mila, who has leukemia and is currently undergoing chemotherapy, was featured as part of Duchess Kate’s ‘Hold Still’ project, which aimed to capture life in Britain after lockdown. A photograph of Mila and her father, taken by Mila’s mother, was titled ‘Shielding Mila.’ During a phone conversation with Kate earlier this year, Mila asked whether the duchess was wearing a costume. Kate replied, “I’m not wearing a princess costume right now, I’m afraid, Mila,” but promised to “find a pink dress” for when the pair eventually met in person. And today, Kate—or the Countess of Strathearn as she’s known while in Scotland—entered the drawing-room at the Palace of Holyroodhouse wearing a flowing pink shirt dress, which matched Mila’s very own princess costume (in a much more subtle shade of pink, and accessorized with a tiara!) Kate’s color-block belted dress was identified as a $695 silk shirt dress by Me + Em. It was quite a sight to see two princesses in pink having tea together as Kate and Prince William’s tour of Scotland comes to an end. Next up, Duchess Kate Steps Out in a Tartan Coat, a Gold Skirt and the Queen’s Sapphire Earrings for a Date at a Drive-In Cinema!
