She has fought with determination, strength, and grace that is nothing short of inspirational. Please continue keep Robyn and her family in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.” Just a few days later, on Aug. 13, representatives for the star posthumously announced her death on her Facebook page. The post read: “With a heavy heart, I am saddened to announce Robyn’s passing. However, she is no longer suffering and would want us to remember that and the good memories. RIP my friend, I love you and smile when I think of you.” Reps later followed up with a second in-memoriam post and shared a few of their favorite photos of the actress alongside the caption, “RIP beautiful.” In Sept. of 2021, Griggs opened up about her battle with stage four endocervical adeno cancer and how she vowed to not let the disease stop her from remaining positive and living her life, in an interview with Call Me Adam.
